Where should i go ?

Hello everyone,

This is the first article on this blog, first you have to know, this blog is for my mobility class project. So nice to meet you for this virtual trip!

I wanted to go in South Korea but at the end I choose New Zealand. I will discover with you this amazing country. This country is an island next to Australia and near Antarctica, the capital is Wellington and the largest city is Auckland, I guess they those cities are the place to find a good university for next year. This is a country where people speak mostly in English (95.9%) then come Maori (4.2%) it’s the traditional language. There are a lots of ethnic groups (in order of importance) European, Maori, Asian, Pacific peoples, Middle Eastern, Latin American, African…

New Zealand in numbers is:

Area: 268,021 km².
Population: 4,596,700 estimate in 2015.
Density: 17.2 people / km².
Gross Domestic Product (GDP): $165.987 billion estimate in 2015.
The Human Development Index: 0,913 (9th).
The currency is New Zealand dollar ($) (NZD).
The time zone: UTC+12 and in summer UTC+13 (UTC = Coordinated Universal Time).

According to the website www.diplomatie.gouv.fr France and New Zealand have good diplomatic relation in fact 4.000 French people live in NZ. We have also good economic relation between our countries, €800 Million per year of commercial flows.

Other fact:

It’s THE country of the trilogy “The Lord of the Ring”, I have to see those amazing landscapes. And it’s the “cradle” of rugby, I really appreciate this sport and if I have the chance to watch at least one match of the national team, I would love it.
